What Does Earth-Centered Mean?
In many respects, we are not your typical Unitarian Universalist church. Each UU church has a different "flavor". Because UU churches are not governed by a set doctrine, each church establishes its own rules and rituals. For us, that means Earth-centered rituals and sermons. Earth-centered means that we respect the Earth we live on and seek to live in harmony with all who share it. We believe that there is no "one true way" to spiritual enlightenment and invite all gods to share their wisdom with us. We invite the elements (Earth/Air/Fire/Water) to join us as we celebrate the turning of the year. We draw our sermons and music primarily from Unitarian Universalist sources. We are a lay led church which means that we have no formal minister. People from the church and community volunteer their time to lead Sunday services each week. If you are interested in leading a Sunday service, please contact Shannon Ader.
